Olivia Dizon-Paradis (formerly Olivia Paradis) is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Florida (UF), where she received her M.S. degree in the same department. She received her B.S. in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering (BME) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Advised by Dr. Damon Woodard, her dissertation research focuses on investigating the practicality of reinforcement learning algorithms.

She is a graduate research assistant at the Florida Institute for National Security (FINS), a member of the Applied Artificial Intelligence Group (AAIG), and an artificial intelligence scholar at the Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute (EFTI). Her research work involves artificial intelligence in various national security applications, such as cybersecurity and tourism. She has published several peer-reviewed articles and patents. She is also a graduate student member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Tau Beta Pi (TBP), and Eta Kappa Nu (HKN)

Personal Information: Olivia is happily married to Reiner Dizon-Paradis. Her favorite activities include playing video games, watching anime, making jewelry, and spending time with her family.
